Godfrey is Pastor of Community Involvement of Foundry United Methodist Church where he previously served as Senior Pastor for 34 years. He is now also the Executive Director/President of Hope Disaster Recovery. With over 5000 members, Foundry is one of the largest United Methodist Churches in the country. Foundry is one church in two locations and serves as a community leader in making a difference in the lives of people in Cy-Fair area. At the age of 58, Godfrey received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Asbury Seminary recognizing his lifelong achievements. He is a former school teacher, coach and community leader with a passion to reach out to others.Weight
