Patricia Gonzalez earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word and her Master’s in Professional Counseling at Grand Canyon University. She has worked for several years with a nonprofit that assists families with disabled and terminally ill children and holds a license in grief counseling. She has worked with those in emergency and crisis situations as a 911 and police dispatcher and with military spouses and their many concerns. She embraces an integrative approach to counseling and looks forward to the journeys she will embark on with her clients. A favorite quote that describes her personal vision as a counselor is one by Maxwell Diawuoh, "This is your healing. It doesn't have to be pretty or graceful.
