After-School ‘Hope Centers’
Hope Centers are after-school youth centers providing mentorship, academic support, STEM learning, and recreational activities for economically disadvantaged communities. With locations in key neighborhoods and a central campus in Waller, TX, we serve students ages 5-18 through engaging programs like Hope Nights (mentorship and ministry), the CREW reading program (literacy support), and our STEM Bus (mobile LEGO robotics and drone workshops). At our centers, kids participate in hands-on STEM projects, arts and crafts, sports, and games, all in a supportive and enriching environment.

Statistics show that students who are not reading at or above grade level by the time they reach third grade have a greater chance of dropping out of school. In 2022, Cy-Hope launched "CREW," a literacy program for K-2nd grade students to help them achieve the ability to read at grade level - and enjoy it too!
The “Center for Reading Enrichment and Writing” takes a fun approach to learning with literacy-boosting games, interactive activities, crafts, creative storytelling, and more. The program currently operates in two Hope Centers, with plans to expand!
