Our Hope Centers offer kids a safe place to come after school where they can participate in crafts, sports, reading, homework help, field trips and tutoring.

Volunteer responsibilities include mentoring children, leading crafts, helping with homework, assisting with snack distribution, and more. Sign up here.

In partnership with the Houston Food Bank, students enrolled in this program receive a backpack of food that will help sustain them through the weekends when school food is not accessible.

Volunteer opportunities include food baggers (Mondays), delivery drivers, substitute delivery drivers, and help with loading cars delivering to schools.

Dierker’s Champs is a spring baseball league that provides an opportunity to grow in character, discipline and sportsmanship for kids who may not have access to traditional organized sports leagues.

Volunteer Opportunities include: Concessions, Field Help, Umpires, Coaches, and Game Day Help.

Cy-Hope Mentoring (aka Ambassadors of Compassion) helps equip middle and high school students for life by providing the opportunity to personally examine and ”experience” life-ready principles in a small ground discussion setting with other youth, led by a Team Coach.

The Hope Chest Resale Market is a boutique-style resale shop that helps raise money for Cy-Hope programs!

Individual Volunteer Opportunities: Looking for adults that can commit to a weekly shift in our warehouse.

Group Volunteer Opportunities: Looking for groups that can “adopt” the street in front of the store to keep the trash picked-up and hauled-off; ideally a once-a-month commitment.

Student Volunteer Opportunities: students 16 years and older are needed on a weekly basis.

Cy-Hope hosts special events throughout the year to raise money for its programs, and they’re made possible by our robust network of volunteers! Events include our Clay Shoot (April 2025), The Cypress Market vendor market (April 2025), Larry Dierker’s Celebrity Golf Tournament (Nov 12), and our annual Gala (Nov 16).

Volunteer Opportunities include event prep and set-up, golf cart drivers, booth attendees, ticket sales, bartenders, bake sale and much more!
